Digital Marketing, My next big step.

  2017 began with so much dreams and hope for me. It was more of a new year resolution, I had stumbled across a blogging platform on the internet where I could share my ideas and create a name for myself.

I decided to try it out because why not?. Internet is the new age, it's so digital that it connects the world together and right from my keyboard, my ideas and content can be seen globally.

I started at on my blog, posting a minimum of 3 posts weekly, I was so happy when I made my first post, I had my hopes up, I had thought just by making my first post, so many people would be interested in reading it, I would get so many traffic to my blog and I would become known overnight. Hahaha, so ridiculous of me to have thought that right?, Well, I came with dreams and hopes and had no idea of the basic facts and details involved in putting yourself out there.
My first post got 10 views, they were definitely from friends and family. I decided to give it another try, I continued making posts, but little by little, I got discouraged because the views were constantly at zero.

I decided I needed to go the extra mile if I ever want to achieve my dreams. I needed traffic to my blog, I needed good content, I need non copyrighted virtual images and videos to back up my contents. Yes! I need to become a digital marketer, that way I can fully optimize my blog.

I enrolled in the Udacity Digital Marketing NanoDegree and so far, it has been great learning from their tutors, their quiz and projects are top notch and can help kick start one's career as a digital marketer.
With undergoing this program, my perspective has broaden and I now see the potentials I can achieve beyond using just a blog, I can optimize my social media presence also.
